Please wear Indian attire if you can for the wedding ceremony otherwise you can wear Western formal attire.

Examples of Indian wear are provided below:

Saree - require draping and a saree blouse so for those of you who aren't familiar with this we would advise against

Lenghas (blouse, skirt and shawl), Salwaar kameez (kind of like a long shirt and pants with a shawl) Anarkali (long dress with leggings and shawl), Sharara (long shirt with poofy pants and a shawl) are easier to wear.

For men, kurta ( long shirts) with pants - sometimes with a shawl are welcome.

Please feel free to wear what makes you comfortable. You don't need to buy something special just for one event!

For the reception, please wear formal attire - Indian or Western - anything that is comfortable to eat and drink and dance with!
