Western and Indian attire are both welcome! Feel free to dress up in whatever makes you comfortable! If opting for Indian wear, we'd suggest kurthas or sherwanis for men and sarees or lehengas for women. For western wear, black tie optional and cocktail dresses are acceptable! Since the Wedding is taking place in a community center within the temple shoes are allowed in the ceremony hall, however if entering the temple side for any reason, we please ask that you kindly remove your shoes before entering.

The doors will be open for our wedding ceremony at 10am and the ceremony will start at 10:30am. The reception will start at 6pm on Saturday with a one hour cocktail hour and dinner and festivities will start promptly after.

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be buffet style food! Lunch after the wedding will be vegetarian and South Indian inspired while dinner during the reception will include veg and non-veg options and a larger variety of Indian cuisine. There will also be an open bar with a variety of options as well as special His & Her drinks! If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP.

Yes! If you come for our wedding on Friday, we expect the ceremony and event to be over around 3 pm at the latest! You have the rest of the evening to explore downtown Toronto - which we highly recommend that you do! The Temple is at the border of Toronto and Mississauga. The Reception is in the evening the next day so we encourage you to enjoy the downtown Toronto night life! The CN tower is the iconic tourist spot - but we also recommend checking out the distillery district!

The Canadian side of the Great Niagara Falls is just about an hour and half away! Renting a car and visiting is definitely doable for those interested in a day trip on the Sunday after our festivities!

We recommend staying near the Toronto Pearson Airport since it is about 15-20 min from both the Wedding and Reception Venues. The Hampton Inn, is a hotel that is in the same complex as the Reception Hall. As space there may be limited, the Airport hotels have more variety and access to the city and venues.

The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) which includes Mississauga and Brampton are very accessible through UBER! If near the airport the UP express takes you downtown and you can get around downtown by taking our subway (TTC) around the city if you feel comfortable!
